Service Technician – Aquatics and Water Treatment

Wavelength Water Limited has over 15 years of experience in professional design, installation, maintenance and repairs of water treatment systems used in commercial and industrial water treatment, swimming pools and water purification systems for homes, communities, farms and businesses. Our TEAM has a wealth of specialised knowledge and skills.

The Role:‍

We're looking for a mechanically minded Service Technician with preferred experience in the water or pool industry. You may currently be working in a domestic pool or water service role and looking to take the next step in your career. You will provide hand on support in our service team performing maintenance activities for municipal pools, water features and small treatment plants. This role is critical in helping grow the business through providing outstanding routine and reactive service support to our customers. Vehicle, laptop and phone provided.

‍Key Responsibilities:‍

• Attending to scheduled installations, maintenance and repair work as well as call outs at customer sites
  
• Assisting with planning and scheduling of routine service work as well as shutdown work
• Assisting in commissioning activities
• Communicating effectively with customers and understanding criticalities around the customer’s site
• Building and maintaining good working relationships with new and existing customers
• Helping to identify upgrade and replacement opportunities during routine maintenance activities

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience Required

• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office software applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Ability to quickly learn electronic systems (Health & Safety, Job Management, Design & Reporting Tools)
• Understanding of the relevant laws/regulations around water treatment servicing
• Trade qualification e.g. electrical, plumbing not essential but an advantage.
